The Gladiators - Proverbial Reggae

Published in 76 "Proverbial Reggae" is probably one of the greatest roots reggae album of all time.

With an emphasis on vocal harmonies, carried by the powerful drums of Sly Dunbar ( of "Sly and Robbie" fame ) it is the second album of the group to be published on the Virgin label, at a time where the international success of Bob Marley has opened the gates of recording studios to a lot of jamaican bands.

An incredible amount of hits, melodies to die for make this album a must-buy for all serious reggae heads.
