German DJ and Producer, Hendrik Weber lives between Berlin and Paris, hence his presence on the French scene. Also known as Pantha du Prince, this is his third album.
"Black Noise" references certain infra-Bass frequencies which are imperceptible to the human ear, such as those produced during an earth quake. It was therefore in the Alps, on the site where a village was buried during a landslide that our princely friend holed himself up for months to find his inspiration for this album.
Church bells, electronic winds and synthetic water-table cloths: the countryside presented by Pantha du Prince is both serene and oblique, with his pastoral cd cover, which would disconcert the Techno amateur. An organic and serene electro which I find promising, in which the electronic and natural sounds converge.
