A superb podcast from our good friend El Freeman, in the form of a homage to the psychedelic music of the late sixties. Spiraling guitars , drunken choirs and a strong attraction for staggered solos: are all here for your enjoyment.
The fans of this era will be happy to hear all the classics (Doors, Floyd, Can, Jefferson Airplane), but there are also some surprise guests, such as Mayblitz, The Duke of Stratosphear and the very beautiful "Le Prince en Otage" from French pop singer Polnareff.
I always loved the psychic-rock sound, before it became badly digested by the Prog-rock musicians mid 70s (King Crimson, Yes...). This delicious podcast will submerge you in the the music of the time when the rollies made you laugh and when flowered shirts were not only the garb of those who didn't know how to dress.

Still fond of minimal sounds but certainly less dark, this "Move 004" is one of TOFM's best mixes. A beautiful intro from london composer Lazarus, followed by Even Tuell's "Untitled" track: this is a super start for a set which shows an interesting evolution in TOFM's style.

Jazz is a freestyle music with only one rule - no accordion! I have to say Jazz took its effect on me quite late, much like cirrhosis of the liver. It was probably its somewhat pretentious side and the fact that it is said to be "the music of musicians" that put me off when I was younger, but now I appreciate the flights of fancy, which should not be analyzed, but felt.
Like all music genres, Jazz became enriched over time through incorporating other influences (Soul, Funk, Electro, African music). Here is a modest mix of tracks that I like for their diversity and their love of Swing.
I leave you with this lovely quote from Jimi Hendrix, which applies to all musical analysis: "Knowledge speaks, but Wisdom listens"
