Minimal Tek should be digested over time. Minimal Tek is a sonic spiral. Minimal Tek is, in my opinion, one of the most accomplished mixes from TOFM, both airy and powerful.

Morad Kalice, aka DJ Kalice, is a DJ from Jordan. Pioneer of the local electronic scene, Kalice has spun the decks side by side with well known DJs, such as Nick Warren, Deep Dish and Danny Howells. He also started a label, Double 8 Records, to promote young artists. You can find other DJ sets from this Oriental, but not disoriented DJ on his website: www.djkalice.com.
A set which swings between Tech House and more minimal sounds which amateurs and afficionados of this genre will love. Kalice suggests a perfectly balanced musical climate, where the Petra sun teams up with the cold of Berlin.
A big thank you to Ahmad Kawas who allowed us to open our ears to these DJs, who come from electronic lands less travelled and whose talent rivals those from more temperate lands.
This is real global underground!

Techno connoisseur and occasional UM contributor Fringe Player’s first podcast is a tech house set sprinkled with dialogue samples from the outstanding HBO TV series “The Wire."
The musical escapade begins with two atmospheric tracks from the magnificent “Berlin Calling” film soundtrack, slowly builds with several funkier productions, takes a reflective turn with “Summer on Mars” and Guy J's brilliant “Self Love”, soars with melodic, vigorous remixes by the consistently excellent Joris Voorn and Pig & Dan, before finishing with a superb reconstruction of the D.H.S classic "House of God" from techno's infancy in 1990.
